Introduction to PROS workshop + Onboarding

On 18 March 2026, we hosted an Introduction to PROS workshop, covering the basics of creating programs for VEX V5 robots. The session introduced fundamental PROS concepts and C/C++ programming, with hands-on experience using the robots and software. We also used the workshop to onboard members to our Notion, Onshape, and GitHub, helping new team members get set up and ask questions about how we operate.

Feel free to have a look at the code from this session on our GitHub, and join our Discord to stay updated on future workshops and events!

FVT Presents: Intro to VEX

On the 11th of March 2026, FVT hosted an 'Intro to VEX' workshop for students interested in learning about VEX Robotics and our club. The workshop covered the basics of VEX, our club structure and competition season, and provided an opportunity for attendees to brainstorm exciting projects for our off-season. It was a great success, with 17 new members attending and engaging with our team members.

If you missed out on this one, don't worry - we'll be hosting more workshops in the future, so check out our calendar, or join our Discord to stay in the loop!
